A guest lecture on “Design Thinking for Management Professionals” was organized to guide the MBA and BBA students JBS, Noida
It was an interactive session where students had a direct discussion with the guest speaker Ms. Kalpana Sinha, For the development of design thinking to how to insert disruption into thought processes to spark creative ideas, and also gave some great insights into creativity and innovative thinking. She explained why design thinking is important and what does it require to become a successful entrepreneur. She added- Design thinking is a foundation for innovation. It requires a useful mindset for entrepreneurs because it helps them in becoming focused on their goals. To make the session interactive and communicative, she asked the students to present their creative skills. Students were asked to draw “House” in the paper sheet and surprisingly all of them showcased something different than the other. It helped in finding out the detailed idea about how creative an individual is and how can designing be different from each other based on their mindset and intellectual skills. Everyone had fun during the session and got the complete idea of what it requires to be good entrepreneurs.
