A workshop for staff development was conducted JBS, Noida for non-teaching staff.
A workshop for staff development was conducted JBS, Noida for non-teaching staff. A total of 28 staff members from various departments of JBS, JIIT Sector 62 and JIIT Sector 128 attended the sessions with lots of excitement and enthusiasm. All the sessions were very interactive with active participation from the staff and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

.ry well received by the attending staff. They expressed that the sessions were very useful in their daily work and the training will help them in their professional development.

JBS Noida organized a Debate Competition for B. Tech, BBA and MBA students.
JBS Noida organized a Debate Competition for B. Tech, BBA and MBA students. The aim of conducting this debate competition was to provide a platform to the students for showcasing their skills and talent. The Topic for the competition was “Artificial Intelligence: Boon for Humanity?”. Winners received a cash award of Rs. 3,000/-(Best Team Prize)and Rs 1,500/- (Best Debater Prize) respectively.

JBS, Noida had organized a workshop on “International Derivatives”. The speaker for the day was Mr. Nitesh Bansal, Director Academics, and a Chartered Accountant. This workshop helped students to understand the tools and skillset used in the Financial Derivatives industry and how macro-economic factors affect markets with the help of games and activities.

JBS, Noida conducted a 2 days MDP on Dashboard: A Tool for Effective Management on 17-18 January 2020. In the era of information overload and large sources/varieties of data, Dashboards are gaining attentions by management professionals. Various sessions of the MDP were jointly delivered by faculty members from Business Analytics of Management and Computer Science Engineering departments, which ensured a perfect blend of management and technical knowledge could be shared to participants of the MDP. The MDP sessions included varied knowledge of Dashboard design and hands-on experiences of the best practices of using Microsoft Excel and its advanced features.
The participants were a group of senior level management professionals from both public and private sector organizations. The MDP was concluded with wonderful feedback from participants, who found the sessions adding to their knowledge-base and also have expressed interest to learn more in the field as well as stay update

JBS, Noida conducted a 1 day workshop on Union Budget 2020 on 1st February. It started with the live screening of the Budget which was presented by Finance Minister. This was followed by discussions and deliberations by eminent Chartered Accountants CA Atul Agarwal and CA Madam Gopal Gupta. Large number of students and faculty members were present who were enriched by the deliberations of the workshop.
